A Scottish engagement…
Happy news alert - we’re engaged!
In October we took a week off to visit the west coast of Scotland and the Isle of Skye.
It was the best holiday with brilliant weather, serene coastal views, ethereal autumn light, amazing food and of course, the most wonderful company.
We stopped off at Glenfinnan, Mallaig, the Fairy Pools on Skye, spent some time at Loch Lomond and climbed Beinn Narnain. At the summit, Euan produced a box and ring he had spent the last months making and asked me to marry him.
Of course, I said yes!
There are so many fond memories from our time away and I’ve been replaying them over and over since we returned home. I feel so lucky to spend my days and my life with someone who fills every day with love and laughter and who makes the dark days lighter.
