New art every week? #originalartmonday

Every Monday for the past few weeks, I’ve uploaded a new painting from my Lands Beyond collection to my shop and Instagram.

If you can’t tell by now, I’m very much drawn to blue tones and enjoy the wild nature of these paintings. Wobbly horizon lines, fading foregrounds and blocky skies all feature in this collection of paintings, with each one a solo star in its own right and harmonising together beautifully in my orchestra of blue.

There are quite a few more in this series coming up over the next few weeks and I think I will continue my #originalartmonday to feature older paintings once I’ve finished showcasing this collection.

I’m currently working on a 36x48” commission of my version of Newhaven harbour here in Edinburgh. It’s sitting behind me, glowing in the evening light but I have to wait for a thick layer of paint to dry before making my next move.
